Hilton Hotels
This project was large, we were requested as a team to develop courses for the Hilton Hotels in North America first, and then branch this out for the EMEA and APAC regions as well.
The courses were targeted at engineering and deep cleaning staff, whose tasks involve the day to day of keeping hotels at the service level that Hilton expects.
We created courses tackling in depth training necessary in their day-to-day tasks in a way that was easy to understand, and retain. These courses involved multiple topics for each area (engineering or deep cleaning) with step-by-step processes in how to execute. It also included motivational videos, immersive 360º lessons with quizzes, interactive online lessons, theory assessments and print collateral involving A2 posters, flash card key chains and coaching cards. Overall the project entailed over 30 video lessons, over 30 interactive lessons, 7 posters, 3 coaching cards, 7 immersive lessons and more.
As the motion and design lead I executed on most of the interactive and print collateral while overseeing design and execution of animations for our videos and immersive lessons. Developing the immersive lesson UI as well, and creating a library of iconography that fit within the brand CI.
The biggest challenges with this project was a complete rebrand by the hotel group 3 days prior to our first delivery. Which meant having to rebrand all collateral within a few days to meet our hard second delivery date. The hotel group also requested a list of accessibility standards, so adapting design and layout to match these requirements took a lot more work, but we achieved our goal to a very high standard and had a very happy client.
Aside from the main projects, we were then also asked to create a 3rd and 4th project which included a "bed bugs" topic and its own set of lessons, along with a PowerPoint presentation which their training facilitators would use, facilitator guides, pocket cards, coaching cards, and a much shorter set of videos for their long stay guests.
As a lead, I was involved not only in overseeing and executing on this project, but pitching directly to client, developing a pitch deck with visuals, and weekly client calls speaking directly with client, flagging any concerns around their requirements and branding.
