This is the vertical orientation of the logo, meant solely for large format marketing material, or where the marketing material allows for this orientation.
This is the horizontal orientation of the logo, developed for the purpose of wide orientation marketing material or the website which is still to be developed. This orientation would work well on stationery as well. The logomark is freestanding too.
After sketching out my idea, I put everything together in digital format, showing my thought process and the references made in creating this logo mark.

I was tasked to create a logo and corporate identity for a women's ministry, focusing on the strengths of women, but also the gentleness of women.

The clients wanted something that reflected the femininity of women while still showing the strengths of women. I decided to use colours with high contrast showing these characteristics that women possess, as well as playing around with font weights to create this contrast.
